WHY I STARTED HELPING HANDS

My journey to opening Helping Hands Counselling Services has been deeply personal and transformative. 

The recent loss of my brother Dennis in July 2022, my father J. Paul in September 2023, and my mother Genevieve in March 2024, led me to realize that it was time to pursue my long-held dream of opening my own practice. 

This decision was driven by the desire to create a space where others who are struggling with their own pain can find support and healing. 

This is a picture of my mother holding my father’s hand shortly before his passing. The name “Helping Hands” has taken on a more profound meaning since this picture was taken.
